Porsche 991 Turbo tuning by Russian TOPCAR

It will be a Porsche Turbo wide-body style version for the Porsche Carrera 991 and 991 S with the first delivery of these tuned 991's ready for March 2012.

Strategic direction for tuning studio TOPCAR (www.top-car.ru) is to work with Porsche cars. Although still mostly unheard of, the recent design projects for the Porsche Cayenne and Porsche Panamera have helped TOPCAR form a well known global following.

And now, on the eve of the premiere Porsche 991 in Frankfurt, the company has released official sketches for the new Porsche 991 model. It will be a Porsche Turbo wide-body style version for the Porsche Carrera 991 and 991 S with the first delivery of these tuned 991's ready for March 2012.

All body parts will be manufactured from traditional carbon fiber and Kevlar with use of vacuum forming technology in the production. All these elements ensuring excellent quality to live up to their high performance promise. ADV.1 Wheels will be providing ultralight forged wheels for the builds.

Precise details for the tuning program are still unknown, and honestly, even though the renderings look great it's tough toi say whether such a tuning package will hold up vs the titans of tuning TechArt, Gemballa and Ruf!

Another huge question is if 9ff can finally deliver. It doesn't take an expert to browse all the super car and Porsche forums out there to realize that there is a huge community of enthusiast that have been burned by 9ff. It seems the press cars that they deliver for magazines are completely different to the ones that hit the road - over priced and full of problems.
